1. What is Battlefield One Podcast?
Battlefield One Podcast is an independent media production that focuses on covering Electronic Arts Battlefield franchise news, updates and developments, while adding personal opinions and observations from the hosts and guests that are featuring on the show.
Established by Tom Belous in June 2015 on TheLankySoldier Youtube channel. Rebooted by Tom Belous in March 2023.

2. What is Battlefieldone.net?
Battlefieldone.net is a website created by Tom Belous to document all Battlefield One Podcast episodes that were released since June 2015.
The website also exists as a marketing platform for Battlefield One Podcast.
3. What is the purpose of Battlefield One Podcast?

The main purpose of Battlefield One Podcast (purpose established by Tom Belous) is to bring up to date news, updates and opinionated discussions to gaming communities that are interested in the Battlefield franchise, which would let us bridge the gap between players and developers when it comes to gaming discussions and game development.

4. Who runs and owns Battlefield One Podcast?

Battlefield One Podcast is run and owned by Tom Belous, with assistance from Ray Edmunds on co-hosting the show.

5. Is Battlefield One Podcast affiliated with Electronic Arts or their studios (DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, etc)?
​
Battlefield One Podcast is an independent media production owned by Tom Belous and is NOT affiliated with Electronic Arts or their studios in any way.
Tom Belous & Ray Edmunds are part of EA Creator Network since 2017 and took part in some unpaid marketing materials for Electronic Arts.
Tom Belous was volunteer moderator for Battlefield 1 CTE (Community Test Environment) Subreddit.

6. Does Electronic Arts own any of the material you use?

All trademarks, logos, and materials related to the Battlefield franchise are the property of Electronic Arts and its affiliated companies.
Our use of such materials is strictly for commentary, criticism, news reporting, and educational purposes, and is intended to fall within the guidelines of fair use.

7. Do you make any revenue using any of the copyrighted material owned by Electronic Arts?
​
No. The only revenue we're making is from our Patreon and voluntary donations. Our Patreon content is original (fully created and owned by Tom Belous), unique and doesn't include reused copyrighted material of any kind.

8. Can I use Battlefield One Podcast content under fair use?
​
Yes, you can use Battlefield One Podcast and Battlefieldone.net content whatever way you want, as long as you transform that content into your own content, negative or positive. We do not allow straight re-uploads, unless you ask for consent.
You don't have to give us credit, but as courtesy, we would like you to credit us whatever you're doing with Battlefield One Podcast or website content, including sharing the content anywhere. Thank you.

9. Can I rely on your information for making important decisions (Ex: Being convinced to buy a game)?

No. Our commentary, analysis, and news reporting reflect individual viewpoints and sometimes speculation. On grand scale of things, we are entertainment media production first. Any factual content (Ex: Release dates, feature sets) is sourced - when available - from credible outlets. We recommend verifying from official Electronic Arts and their channels for announcements before making decisions, or follow other Battlefield related media productions to make an educated decision.

10. Can I rely on the information any guest would disclose on the show or website articles?
​
Every guest that appears on Battlefield One Podcast or Battlefieldone.net came on voluntary by invitation from Tom Belous.
Every individual that is not Tom Belous or Ray Edmunds are responsible for their own opinions and discussion topics they might bring to Battlefield One Podcast and Battlefield.net website. We are not responsible for any opinion or discussion topic that might give someone a wrong impression or information about a topic.
Our goal on Battlefield One Podcast and Battlefieldone.net is provide a platform for everyone to have a chance to speak their mind without judging,
as long as it's not hate speech, discrimination, or any other negative implication.

11. What if I disagree or want to correct something?

Send that feedback, tell us everything. Contact us through our Contact page or use our Google Forms document that is designed for providing feedback. You are also welcome to contact us through our social media accounts. We'll address corrections or concerns promptly and either update the content or provide a public correction note, depending on the issue.

12. What's your policy on user-submitted content, messages and comments?

We moderate all user feedback through all our channels, socials and Discord. Content containing hate speech, defamation, libel, or personal attacks will be removed. Users posting such content may be warned or blocked. We reserve the right to remove any comment without prior notice.

13. Do you accept sponsorships and advertisements?
​
We are fully funded by our Patreon supporters and donations from our gaming community. Anyone that subscribes to our Patreon, is getting extra content that we specifically produce for Patreon, not Battlefield One Podcast.

At the moment, we are not accepting any 3rd party sponsors, unless it's a deal that is beneficial to all parties - Battlefield One Podcast, the audience and the sponsor themselves. If we know that one of the parties will not be satisfied, we are not accepting any offers.

14. What if someone believes you're infringing their rights?
All the content we produce based on anyone's else content or information that was not originated from us, we specify that. We use all of that content and information under fair use and cover it as independent media personalities.
But if we have used your material improperly, contact us via our Contact page. We’ll promptly review and, if valid, remove or appropriately credit the content.

15. Do you collect any personal data or track visitors on this website?
​
No. We are not collecting any data about you on this website, but we do track how many visitors we get and from what location.

16. I did something "stupid". You told me to do it on your latest Battlefield One Podcast episode.

We are not responsible for any actions you do that might harm you in any way, as we are an entertainment media production. Whatever is being discussed on any episode of Battlefield One Podcast or Battlefieldone.net articles, it's for 100% entertainment purposes only.
If you're a Patreon supporter or do regular donations to us, while performing acts that damage our public reputation or spreading misinformation that might damage us in the long run, we are cancelling your Patreon subscription and we're not accepting any more donations from you.
